PositionSafety & Security Officer
Requirements, Skills & Qualification:
- Diploma/Degree in Aviation or equivalent work experience, supported by relevant professional training, workshops, and seminars.
- Strong self-management skills with proven ability to prioritize multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications, with excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Proven experience in implementing programs and coordinating across multiple locations.
- Initiative in process improvement, offering innovative solutions while upholding safety standards.
- Flexible team player with strong interpersonal skills and willingness to travel as needed.
- The candidate should be a Maldivian National.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining security and safety programs, including training initiatives and quality control measures.
- Conduct risk assessments, monitor security and safety risks, manage hazard identification databases & track and follow up on Mandatory Occurrence Reports (MORs) and ensure accurate logging and reporting.
- Coordinate and deliver Security training for staff, maintaining up-to-date training records, & support internal investigations, audits, safety surveys, and Emergency Response Plan (ERP) exercises.
- Collaborate with external agencies and stakeholders on security matters and manage threat monitoring & assist in evaluating program effectiveness, implementing corrective actions, and updating procedures.
- Oversee in scheduling of duty staff and maintain and distribute safety and security documentation across the organization.
