PositionSafety Officer

Qualification and Experience Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering or Aviation Management or equivalent work experience.
• Formal qualifications and experience in Aviation Safety Management is preferred.
• The candidate should be a Maldivian National.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support development and maintenance of Security and Safety programs, including training and quality control.
• Conduct risk assessments, manage hazard databases, track and follow up on MORs, and ensure accurate reporting.
• Deliver safety trainings, maintain training records, and assist with investigations, audits, surveys, and ERP exercises.
• Coordinate duty staff scheduling and manage safety documentation distribution.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Strong self-management skills with proven ability to prioritize multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications, with excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proven experience in implementing programs and coordinating across multiple locations.
• Initiative in process improvement, offering innovative solutions while upholding safety standards.
• Flexible team player with strong interpersonal skills and willingness to travel as needed.

Salary:

• Based on qualification and experience.
