PositionTechnical Services Engineer

Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Technical Services.
  • Must have experience working in DHC-6 Twin Otter or ATR 72-212A.
  • Ability to use initiatives and sound judgement in relation to carrying out maintenance planning and upkeep of maintenance records.
  • Understanding of Part M, Part CAMO and Part 145 regulations.
  • Knowledge of FAA, EASA, MCAA regulations.
  • Proven organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities at one time and make decisions in a busy, fast-paced environment.
  • Good level of English (spoken and written) in combination with strong communication skills.
  • Computer literate with strong working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and implement Aircraft Maintenance Programs, following revision to MPD or reliability findings, as required, and ensuring the software is updated in accordance with SOP.
  • Assess ADs, SBs and other Regulatory/OEM documents to ensure aircraft comply with the applicable maintenance and airworthiness requirements.
  • Review and evaluation of other technical publications (AOMs,OIMs, SILs, etc)
  • Update and maintain Technical Library, issue Technical Notices and update the Approved Data Register
  • Liaise with aircraft lessors, OEMs, foreign AMOs, shops, etc. as required.
  • Liaise with OEMs/DOAs/POAs to obtain repairs schemes that fall outside the scope of SRM.
  • Manage aircraft Weight & Balance and determine effect on weight and centre of gravity. Calculate new basic weight and amend W&B Record.
  • Update ECTM data to carry out EHM functions and take remedial actions as required.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations and incorporate any changes into maintenance procedures.
  • Monitor repetitive defects and take remedial actions as required.
  • Prepare reliability reports for Manta Air Fleet.
