Manta Air, the new experience in the skies of the Maldives, has officially launched it’s brand today
A special ceremony was held at Dharubaaruge where guests of the ceremony also got to experience Manta Air’s hospitality first-hand. The brand was officially launched by the Vice President of the Maldives, His Excellency Mr Faisal Naseem.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Manta Air’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr Mohamed Khaleel said that the arrival of Manta Air comes amidst the increased demand by the hospitality industry to have a reliable and seamless air transfer service. “Manta Air comes at a time where the local domestic aviation industry is in need of a more competitive and healthier competition. As Manta Air, our aim is to raise the standards of the domestic aviation industry by providing the best experience in the skies for our passengers and through increased connectivity in a structured manner throughout the Maldives while also upholding to our principles of maintaining a reliable and seamless service,” said Khaleel.
Khaleel also stated that Manta Air is also proud to have 80% of employees represented by locals from the Maldives and that in the future, Manta Air will continue to provide more opportunities for locals aiming for a career in the aviation industry.
In addition to the launch of it’s brand, Manta Air also unveiled its crew uniforms and also unveiled its brand ambassadors; Maldivian Idol season 3 runner-up Ms Mariyam Maeesha and local Maldivian artist and lead singer of the Kabans, Mr Arshad Ali. Along with the brand ambassador’s unveiling, Manta Air also debut its official brand song, Wind Walker, performed by the brand ambassadors.
Manta Air is set to start its operations to Kudahuvadhoo in Dhaalu atoll and with the second aircraft arrival in Mid-December, Manta Air will also start it’s operations to Dharavandhoo in Baa atoll, with an aim to provide a reliable, hospitable and consistent air transfer as your tropical way to fly.
